What to Expect on the Day
1. Arrival & Check-In
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled cruise time to allow for QR code check-in. Boarding will begin promptly at your scheduled time.2. Boarding & Seating
Once onboard, you’ll receive your table number and a welcome drink from the bar. Guests are welcome to explore the upper deck or head straight to their seats. All guests should be seated no later than 20 minutes after the scheduled departure time.3. Mid-Cruise Experience
Midway through the journey, the vessel will turn and begin its return towards Butler’s Wharf Pier. At this point, live sightseeing commentary will begin — feel free to enjoy it from the main deck or upstairs. -

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure to ensure a smooth and timely boarding experience.
Special requirements
Infants are welcome aboard Tea on the Thames, but must remain under close supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. For safety reasons, prams and pushchairs must be folded and securely stowed during the cruise.
Please note that there are no highchairs available on board, and seating for infants must be arranged at the time of booking.

1. Service Cancellation & Disruption
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend our services at any time, without prior notice, if deemed necessary for operational, safety, or external reasons.
In the event that an afternoon tea cruise is cancelled, we will offer a transfer to an alternative date or vessel, subject to availability.
If a cruise is interrupted or delayed due to mechanical issues, we will aim to replace the boat within 60 minutes. If unsuccessful, you will be offered a complimentary transfer to another cruise, subject to availability.2. Personal Belongings
Tea on the Thames accepts no responsibility for any items left on board or personal belongings brought onto the boat. Items are carried at the owner’s risk. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.3. Gift Vouchers
Tea on The Thames gift vouchers are strictly non-refundable.
Vouchers issued by third-party resellers are governed by the resellers’ terms and conditions. Tea on The Thames accepts no responsibility for such limitations or for the validity or terms of third-party vouchers.4. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
We do not cater for nut allergies and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Customers with any allergies are strongly advised to contact our customer service team before booking.5. Booking Fees & Payment
A booking fee of £5.50 per table applies to all reservations.6. Cancellation Policy
There is a 24-hour cooling-off period after your initial booking. If you cancel within this period, a full refund will be issued minus a £10 per person Cancellation Fee.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours after booking are non-refundable. However, you may opt to change your booking (see amendment policy below).7. Amendment Policy
Changes made more than 2 weeks before the scheduled date will incur a £10 per person amendment fee.
Changes made within 2 weeks of the scheduled date will incur a £22.50 per person amendment fee.
All changes are subject to availability.8. Group Bookings & Events (10+ guests)
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost is required at the time of booking to secure your group reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 2 weeks prior to the event. This final payment is also non-refundable.
